East Preston Stays Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full via PayPal.

  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and agrees to take full responsibility for all members of the party.

  • Prices are as stated on the website at the time of booking and include utilities, linen, cleaning charges are also stated on the booking payment page.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • More Than 4 Weeks Before Arrival: Full refund less £35.00 admin charge.

  • Within 4 Weeks but More Than 7 Days: 50% refund less £35.00 admin charge.

  • Within 7 Days of Arrival: No refund will be issued.

  • No-Shows: No refund will be given.

  • We strongly recommend guests take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in time is from 3pm, and check-out is by 11.00am.

  • Late check-out may result in additional charges unless pre-agreed.

4. House Rules

  • The property is strictly non-smoking.

  • No pets are allowed unless explicitly stated or agreed.

  • Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child.

  • No parties or events are allowed without prior approval.

5. Damages & Security

  • Guests are responsible for any breakages or damage during their stay.

  • Significant damage or extra cleaning may result in additional charges.

6. Liability

  • The property owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property during the stay, unless caused by negligence.

  • Guests use the property and any amenities at their own risk.

7. Force Majeure

  • The owner is not liable or obligated to provide a refund due to unforeseen events outside of our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

8. Website & Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely via PayPal. Your personal and payment details are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to errors in pricing or availability.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information provided during booking is used solely for the purpose of managing your reservation and will not be shared or sold to third parties.

 
 

Licence to Occupy

 

This Licence to Occupy is made on the date of booking between:

East Preston Stays Ltd,
Merrydown, Kingston Lancing, West Sussex, BN16 1RP
Company Number: 16614704

(“the Licensor”)

and

[Guest Name in the booking and payment form],
(“the Licensee”).

 1. The Property
This licence relates to the property known as:

The Barn at Merrydown, Kingston Lane, East Preston, BN16 1RP,
(“the Property”), which is operated by the home owner and East Preston Stays Ltd.

 2. Term

This licence permits the Licensee to occupy the Property for holiday purposes only for the period:

From: the check in date on the holiday booking 

to the check out date on the holiday booking

Check-in and check-out times are as stated in the booking confirmation.

3. Nature of Agreement
This agreement is a Licence to Occupy and does not create a tenancy. The Licensee is granted permission to occupy the Property for holiday use only and has no right to remain in the Property beyond the expiry of this Licence.

The Licencee must not:

Use the Property as their principal home.
Sublet or assign the Property.
 Conduct business or comm
